Iran has once again attacked by entering inside the border of Pakistan. After this attack, the name of Jaish Al Adal has once again come into discussion. Iran had attacked Pakistan through a missile in January. In a surgical strike, Iran’s army has killed Jaish-al-Adal commander Ismail Shahbaksh and his closest allies.
Pakistani media has not reported any news related to this. Now the question arises as to who is Jaish al-Adl, whose terrorists have once again been attacked by Iran.
Jaish al-Adl is a Sunni organization which is mainly active in south-eastern Iran bordering Pakistan. Jaish al-Adl means Army of Justice. It was built in 2012. In 2013 it claimed responsibility for an attack that killed 14 Iranian guards. After this attack, Jaish al-Adl came into limelight.
As per reports, the terrorist group stated that the attack was an act of retaliation against the actions of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps in Syria and the oppression of Sunnis.
attacks on Iran
Jaish al-Adl claims to fight for the independence of Sistan and Baluchistan province, as well as the rights of the Baloch people in Iran. According to reports, Jaish al-Adl was founded by members of Jundallah. In 2010, Iran captured and killed the leader of a Sunni terrorist group, Abdolmalek Rigi. Jaish al-Adl has been targeting Iran’s border guards in Sistan and Baluchistan since it was established.
Last year, this group had claimed responsibility for the attack on a police station. In which four attackers and two police officers were killed. Jaish Al-Adal’s attack on another police station on December 15 resulted in the death of 11 police officers.
How does Jaish al-Adl work?
Jaish al-Adl’s attacks mostly take place in those places in Iran which are bordering Pakistan. They have established their bases in Pakistan. After the attack, the terrorists ran away, which is a major reason for the sourness between Iran and Pakistan. Jaysh al-Adl fighters are known to target border posts, and military convoys.
