Opening the app shows a new error message, reading, “Currently unavialble. Oops! We regret the inconvenience. Our finest brains are working hard to bring the magic of instant delivery to you super soon! Hang in there, we miss you too.”
Blinkit, the 10-minute grocery delivery platform owned by Zomato, is experiencing an outage across India, leaving customers unable to access the service.
A large audience relying on Blinkit for their online grocery shopping needs, including the elderly and those who seek a user-friendly interface, were affected by this issue.
On multiple social media platforms, users reported the problem and expressed their inconvenience due to the app’s downtime. Tweets with screenshots of the error message circulated, highlighting the outage and seeking answers from the company.
To address the app issues, users can also check their internet connection, allow data usage for the Blink app in device settings, force stop the app, double-check login credentials, or even reinstall the app as potential troubleshooting steps.
According to users on social media, attempting to open the Blinkit app only displayed an error message reading, “Something has gone wrong! Please try again.”
The sudden outage impacted customers in major metro areas where Blinkit operates, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, and other cities.
The disruption is trending on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms, with users posting screenshots of the error message and tagging Blinkit’s account seeking support.
“Is blinkit down for everyone? Placed an order and suddenly nothing hours later as well. Tried via other phones and numbers still the same.” said a user trying to login into Blinkit.
“Omg is @letsblinkit down?,” wrote another.
We tried for ourselves, and the app showed the same error, reading, “Something has gone wrong, please try again.”
So far, the company has not issued any statement acknowledging the problem. Tapping the “Try again” button returns us to the same screen.
