PM Vishwakarma Yojana: While on one hand the government improves many old schemes and makes them more beneficial, on the other hand new schemes are also launched on many special occasions in the country. One such scheme is Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, which is run by the Central Government.
18 traditional businesses have been included in this scheme and at present benefits are also being given to these people. This scheme allows for financial benefits to be provided. Who can join the scheme?
- boat builders, blacksmiths
- stones breakers
- locksmiths
- baskets/mats/brooms makers
- Cobblers/shoe makers are artisans and tailors
- doll and toy manufacturer
- garland makers and washermen
- stone cutters, fishing net
- gunsmiths or sculptors if you are a mason
- hammer and toolkit manufacturer people
- barbers
- Goldsmiths etc.
These benefits are available:-
- Upon joining the scheme, you are provided with advanced training, which results in a daily stipend of Rs 500.
- There is a provision to provide incentives.
- 15 thousand rupees are given to buy a toolkit.
- There is a provision to provide a loan of first one lakh rupees and then an additional two lakh rupees, without guarantee, and at affordable interest rates.
