Arvind Sawant was criticized by Maharashtra state minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday for allegedly making disparaging remarks against Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC, claiming that he would have broken the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader’s mouth if Balasaheb Thackeray had been alive.
Eknath Shinde called Arvind Sawant’s comments regarding the “imported maal” “unfortunate” and stated that he would not accept any criticism. It’s really regrettable. It is absolutely unacceptable to speak negatively about a woman, and criticism is never enough. Despite their claims to adhere to Balasaheb Thackeray’s philosophy, their behavior betrays their true character.
“Balasaheb would have suffered facial injuries if a Shiv Sainik had committed this when he was present. Their character is revealed by their acts. In Guwahati, MVA had already disparaged our women and sisters. “Women will undoubtedly teach a lesson to those who disrespect them in the upcoming elections,” Eknath Shinde told news agency ANI.
“Maharashtra Sisters…”: Eknath Shinde feels certain of winning the assembly election
Eknath Shinde had criticized Arvind Sawant earlier on Friday, saying that the “sisters of Maharasht’Maal comment’ by Arvind Sawant
A representative of the Shiv Sena UBT caused a huge uproar ahead of the Maharashtra assembly election when he allegedly called Shaina NC “imported maal.”
“Observe her state. She joined a different party after spending her entire life in the BJP. “Here, only original’maal’ works; imported’maal’ doesn’t,” Arvind Sawant told reporters.
In the meantime, Sawant is the subject of a case filed at Nagpada Police Station following a complaint from Shaina NC.ra will show him his place and send him back home.”
“If we look at it honestly, it is unfortunate,” Shinde stated. The Maharashtra sisters will all show him where he belongs and send him back home, regardless of who said this. In the elections, I’ll only state that these sisters will collectively exact retribution on those who have insulted their sisters and send them home.”
After submitting a complaint, Shaina NC claimed the law would take its course.
“An FIR has been filed for violating a woman’s modesty and for defamation as he made disparaging remarks. Our purpose is to actively work here. He ought to have talked about it over work if he had to. The Shiv Sena leader told ANI, “I have done what a self-respecting woman should do, and the law will take its course.”
The Maha Vikas Aghadi was criticized by Shaina NC for showing no regard for women. Maharashtra ladies will respond appropriately, she said.
“We are all aware that ‘MahaVinashAghadi’ have no regard for women. Although I am not’maal’, I am blessed by Ma Mumba Devi. If you are going to say something negative about any lady, then this is the FIR and the law will take its course,” she added.
The explanation from Arvind Sawant
Arvind Sawant denied mentioning Shaina’s name on Friday after coming under fire for his “imported maal” comment.
“I didn’t say her name. All I stated was that an outsider would not be able to work here. They have a tendency to stir up controversy,” he told ANI.
Sawant went on to say that he has always valued women and charged that his detractors were attempting to damage his name.
