Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Candidates in the final year/semester of their graduation may apply provisionally but must provide proof of graduation by April 30, 2025.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per SBI PO Recruitment Rules.
- Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: April 1, 2024
Selection Process
The selection for Probationary Officers will occur in three phases:
Phase I: Preliminary Examination
- Format: Objective Test for 100 marks (1 hour).
- Sections:
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
Phase II: Main Examination
- Format:
- Objective Test for 200 marks (topics include Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness/Economy/Banking Knowledge, and English Language).
- Descriptive Test for 50 marks focusing on English Language proficiency.
Phase III: Psychometric Test/Group Exercises/Interview
- This final phase includes:
- Psychometric Test for personality profiling
- Group Exercises (20 marks)
- Interview (30 marks)
- Final Merit List: Based on aggregate marks from the Main Examination and Phase III, normalized to 100 marks.

Additional Information
- Candidates who qualify in Phase I will proceed to Phase II.
- The preliminary exam call letter will be verified and stamped by examination staff. Candidates should retain their call letter and a stamped copy of their ID proof for future examinations.
- For the Main Exam, shortlisted candidates must bring the authenticated original Preliminary Exam call letter along with necessary documents.
